Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Ocala and The Villages is seeking compassionate PRN CNAs for weekend shifts in Ocala. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours and pay starts at $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience and case complexity.

Expect weekly pay, paid orientation, and ongoing training, plus a supportive leadership team and opportunities for professional development while providing companionship and non-medical care to seniors.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Current FL CNA license or proof of 75 hours Home Health Aide Training from an approved program.
• Current non-expired BLS or CPR certification.
• Free of communicable disease statement within 6 months.
• Awareness of HIV/AIDS.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Training (2 hours) within 7 months.
• Self-Administration of Medications Training (2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and home companionship to seniors.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Help with laundry, groceries, meal preparation.
• Complete shift documentation and communicate with the office.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful care and maintain client dignity.
• Support clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.

Griswold Home Care in Ocala & The Villages is calling all compassionate individuals to apply to join our amazing team as a PRN CNA! We're locally owned and operated and would love to meet you! We are looking for CNAs for a weekend shift in Ocala every Saturday and every Sunday. Shift lengths vary based on client needs and may range from 4 to 12 hours.

Compensation: Starting at $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and case complexity.

This companionship and caregiving position offers flexible hours and opportunities to gain meaningful experience assisting seniors. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.

As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non‑medical care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid them with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of elderly care.

You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates. Committed to providing consistent elderly care, you communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients. You feel good about helping seniors enjoy their golden years, and you are glad you chose a career in the caregiving industry.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Reliable Transportation
• Current FL CNA license or proof of a minimum of 75 hours of Home Health Aide Training from anFDOEapproved school or program
• A Current Non Expired BLS or CPR Certification
