Griswold Home Care in Ocala & The Villages is seeking compassionate PRN CNAs for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday). Shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours depending on client needs.

Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience and case complexity. Benefits include weekly pay, paid orientation, ongoing training, and mileage reimbursement where applicable. Join a family-oriented team that values dependable, compassionate care.

Formación

• Current FL CNA license or proof of 75 hours of Home Health Aide Training from an approved program.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Free of communicable disease statement within 6 months.
• Overview of HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's and Dementia training (2 hours) within 7 months.
• Self-Administration of Medications Training (2 hours).
• Completion of Department of Elder Affairs Alzheimer’s training video within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-medical care and home companionship to seniors.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, laundry, meals and errands as needed.
• Complete shift documentation and maintain client records.
• Communicate clearly with office and caregivers to ensure client needs are met.
• Support clients to stay independent and safe in their own homes.

We are looking for CNAs for a weekend shift in Ocala every Saturday and every Sunday. Shift lengths vary based on client needs and may range from 4 to 12 hours.

YOUR LIFE AS A CAREGIVER

This companionship and caregiving position offers flexible hours and opportunities to gain meaningful experience assisting seniors. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.

As a Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. You competently provide non‑medical care and home companionship, helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. With the client’s dignity always at the forefront of your mind, you help them maintain proper personal hygiene. You are gentle and professional as you aid them with daily tasks such as bathing and feeding. At times, you provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Your kind and patient demeanor serves you well as you ensure they receive the highest quality of elderly care.

You carefully complete documentation for each shift, submitting timely updates. Committed to providing consistent elderly care, you communicate routinely with the office about the condition and needs of your clients. You feel good about helping seniors enjoy their golden years, and you are glad you chose a career in the caregiving industry.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Reliable Transportation
• Current FL CNA license or proof of a minimum of 75 hours of Home Health Aide Training from anFDOEapproved school or program
• A Current Non Expired BLS or CPR Certification
• Free of communicable disease statement within 6 months
• Overview of HIV/AIDS
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Training (2 Hours) within 7 months
• Self-Administration of Medications Training (2 Hours)
