Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for residents in a not-for-profit long-term care setting. Qualifications

• CNA certification with State Board or in process within four months.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 3–6 months long-term care experience preferred.
• Must complete yearly competency testing and continuing education (12 hours per year).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Assist residents with meals, dining, hydration, and supplements.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support wellness programs and participate in care planning as needed.
