Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN shifts. The NA delivers resident-centered care, assists with daily living activities, and works under the supervision of an RN.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with meals, transfers, and mobility, while adhering to infection control and PPE policies. Travel within a 75-mile radius is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• CNA certification with the State Board or in process within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Support meals, hydration, and nutrition needs.
