Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in our long-term care facility. You will assist with daily living activities, document vital signs, and support the nursing team under supervision of an RN, following care plans and infection prevention protocols.

Minimum 3 months in long-term care (6 months preferred) and CNA certification with state board are required; driving may be needed for travel between locations within a 75-mile radius.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in long-term care required (6 months preferred).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing required or in process of obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs, assist with transfers, and support infection prevention practices.
