Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant for the Acute Care Unit. Under the supervision of the RN, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families.

Qualified candidates will have a CNA credential, High School Diploma or GED, and must obtain Basic Life Support within 15 days of start.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent is preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 15 days of start date.
• CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient prep, mobility, transfers and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked for safety.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and care team.
