Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, NC, is seeking a compassionate Med/Surg CNA for a PRN position on a 17-bed unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. You will perform direct patient care, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with PT/OT/SLP to promote recovery.

Applicants must be a NC-listed CNA with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, plus BLS; critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision are required. Telemetry/unit secretary distinctions may apply.

Qualifications

• Current listing as Certified Nursing Assistant with NC Division of Facility Services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Licensure as CNA in North Carolina with no substantiated abuse/neglect findings.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Report abnormal findings to the nursing staff.
• Maintain stocked and clean patient rooms and common areas.
