Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Charleston, SC provides compassionate home care across Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties.

As a PRN Home Health Aide (HHA) / CNA you’ll support seniors at home with personal care, bathing, dressing, mobility and companionship while maintaining safety.

We offer flexible schedules, 1:1 client ratios, weekly pay, online training and CEUs, and Insperity Perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active SC CNA license.
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• CPR certification and Covid-19 vaccination card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Aid with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Create a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways; participate in client activities.

A few must-haves for Home Health Aides:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active CNA LICENSE in South Carolina
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.
• CPR certification
• Covid-19 vaccination card
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
