Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks Adjunct Clinical and Lab Nursing faculty to share expertise with our Nursing students. This PRN role requires travel within the Breckenridge, CO area to observe student performance during clinical rotations and labs.

Pay is $60/hour for day clinicals, $70/hour for night clinicals, and $50/hour for labs (labs have no grading requirements). You will reinforce didactic content, collaborate with faculty to evaluate progress toward clinical objectives, and participate in

Qualifications

• MSN preferred
• BSN required
• BSN enrolled in MSN Leadership/Education program, paid for by GCU
• BSN with proof of graduate credits
• National certification related to teaching content
• Two years OB nursing experience with MSN
• Active, multi-state RN license
• Pass drug test and competency testing
• Excellent communication and student relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice and accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe performance.
