Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a PRN Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families and staff at our Irving area location. The role involves a variable shift including days, nights, and weekends and requires proximity to 1901 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75061.

Responsibilities include conducting religious services, counseling, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient care while maintaining documentation of spiritual care provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) one unit preferred or obtained within 18 months.
• PRN role with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts religious services for patients, families and staff.
• Provides pastoral counseling and spiritual education.
• Supports end-of-life care with pastoral support.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, social workers and other staff as part of the care team.
• Documents spiritual counseling notes for patients.
