Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a part-time chaplain to provide timely pastoral care to patients, families, and staff across crises and routine situations. The role includes on-call responsibilities, collaboration with local clergy, and leadership support for spiritual care initiatives.

The position requires a Bachelor's and a Master's in Theology or religious studies, with ACPE units preferred for PRN Level 2. On-site duties span Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree required.
• PRN Level 2 - ACPE units completed; ACPE accredited CPE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely pastoral care to patients, families, and staff during crises and routine situations.
• Respond to referrals within 24–48 hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Participate in facility-wide and department training on fire, safety, and disaster procedures.
• Collaborate with community clergy and local congregations for spiritual care and educational workshops.
• Support campus/entity leadership through spiritual care and mission resources.
