Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Lombard, IL. You will assist in surgical procedures under supervision of surgeons and nurses, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

This role requires completion of an accredited surgical technologist program, one year of experience, and BLS certification; the position is on-site with competitive hourly pay of $28.00–$39.25 per hour, based on skill and experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• 1 year of surgical tech experience.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up operating room with instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and assists surgeons.
• Assists with patient positioning, sterile gowning and gloving.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assists team during operations.
• Cares for specimens and disposes of waste; assists with dressings.
