Job summary

Humble Vascular Surgical Center Inc in Keller, TX is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician for a PRN role to assist surgeons during procedures while maintaining sterile technique and supporting the infection control program.

You will prepare and maintain instruments and supplies, set up the sterile field, monitor equipment, and help with patient preparation and transport as needed. Must be team oriented and have BLS; OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST certification is required or grandfathered by state rules.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• Set up sterile field with instruments, drapes, and supplies before procedures.
• Follow regulations for patient safety and infection control.
• Perform pre-procedure skin prep.
• Assist with counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
• Support patient transfer and positioning as needed.
• Assist with sterilization and decontamination processes.
• Maintain equipment and assist with procedure room readiness.
