Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital- Albuquerque is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. You will administer OT services as directed by the OT and ordered by a physician, in a long-term acute care setting.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, an active NM state license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school.
• Maintains a current New Mexico State License in good standing
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages are desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Occupational Therapist in developing individual treatment programs and administering the occupational therapy treatment program as directed by the Occupational Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
