Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital- Albuquerque is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the Occupational Therapist in delivering patient-centered care within our Albuquerque facility.

You will help develop and carry out individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to promote recovery and functional outcomes for our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NM state license in good standing required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individual treatment programs.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments as directed by the OT and ordered by a Physician.
• Support documentation and communication with the care team.

Skills

Basic computer knowledge

English communication

Additional languages desirable

Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school

Current New Mexico State License in good standing

Current BLS certification
