Job summary

Willow Branch is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will support residents with daily activities, monitor health, and collaborate with nurses to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a warm, family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Must hold and maintain an active state CNA certification.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' daily needs including bathing, feeding, dressing and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with lifting and moving residents with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to the nursing team.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
