Job summary

Glenview Health and Rehab in Glasgow, KY is seeking a PRN CNA to provide compassionate daily resident care, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility assistance. You will work closely with the nursing team to support patient comfort and safety.

Qualified applicants will have at least one year of CNA experience in long-term care, graduate from an accredited CNA program, and maintain a current Kentucky CNA certificate. This position offers flexible shifts and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' individual needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs; assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management; ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
