Job summary

The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is seeking a CNA to join our caring nursing team, providing hands-on support to Veterans and spouses in a homelike environment with predictable scheduling.

Starting at $18.00/hour with additional PM and NOC shift differentials, we offer benefits including health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and same-day pay option.

What Being a CNA Looks Like Here

As a CNA, you'll work closely with our nurses and other members of the care team to provide quality, individualized care to our members.

Your shift may include:

• Assisting members with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Helping with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Assisting with meals and hydration
• Supporting members with toileting and continence needs
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs, weights, and other information as assigned
• Answering call lights and responding to member needs
• Observing members and communicating changes or concerns to the nurse
• Following individualized plans of care
• Helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and homelike environment
• Providing care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life
