MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for PRN coverage in an outpatient clinic. You will interview patients, record vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms under physician direction.

The role requires basic computer skills and effective communication. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of an accredited medical assisting program, and AMT/AAMA/NHA/NAHP/MedCA certification with BLS.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Must be certified through one of: AMT, AAMA, NHA, MedCA as CCMA/CMA/NAHP; BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records data in the medical record; prepares exam rooms.
• Performs multi-skilled tasks to support patient care under physician direction.
• Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing; basic computer skills required.
