Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Non-Certified Nurse Assistant (PRN) to provide direct resident care in our Ohio facility. You will assist with activities of daily living, document care, and support nurses with routine tasks while upholding resident rights and infection control standards.

The role requires strong communication, basic English proficiency, and experience with standard software tools. Training is provided, and you will contribute to a respectful, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Experience: Two to four years preferred.
• Mental: Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Skills: Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with all resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living as needed, including lifting, turning, bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Provides restorative care such as range of motion, ambulation, and bowel/bladder training; responds to call lights promptly.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and living areas, assists with admissions, and supports new staff training as assigned.
• Documents resident information timely and accurately in the EMR; reports changes in condition to supervisor.
• Adheres to Resident Rights and confidentiality; follows infection control and safety protocols.
