Job summary

Frontier Senior Living is seeking attentive caregivers in Spring, TX. The role supports residents with daily needs, meals, activities, and mobility while maintaining confidentiality and safety. The position offers day hours and requires English proficiency, CPR/First Aid certification, and a willingness to train.

Prior experience is welcomed but not required. Employees will participate in required in-services and team meetings, with benefits including health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; English fluency required.
• Willingness to work with elderly residents.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained.
• Previous experience not required; training provided.
• Attend mandatory in-services and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all resident care needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Notify care staff of changes in resident condition.
• Assist in dining room: set up, take orders, serve, buss tables.
• Help residents attend activities and appointments.
• Assist residents to lobby for scheduled appointments.
• Take vital signs and weights as directed.
• Assist with lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Keep CPR/First Aid current.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all care needs a resident might require.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and fellow employee information.
• Notify Resident Care Coordinator, Executive Director, RN, or Medication Aide of changes in a resident’s condition.
• Assist in the dining room during meal times, including setting up, taking meal/beverage orders, serving, and bussing tables.
• Assist with activities when required or be responsible for getting residents to scheduled activities.
• Responsible for getting residents ready and to the lobby for scheduled appointments.
• Be aware of what constitutes a change of condition and report immediately to Medication Aide, Resident Care Coordinator, or RN.
• Take accurate vital signs and weigh residents.
• Assist with in‑care needs of residents, which may include lifting requirements up to 40 pounds.
• Keep current on First Aid/CPR as directed by the Resident Care Coordinator.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or any other management staff.

Qualifications and Other Requirements

• High school graduate preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.
• Previous experience preferred but not necessary – we are willing to train.
• Attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in‑services and other scheduled meetings.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
