Job Summary

LHC Group is seeking a PRN Caregiver to provide compassionate one-on-one support, companionship, or personal care work with our in-home patients in Louisville, KY and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfer to chair or wheelchair.
• Report observations of the client’s condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when business travel is required.
• Assist with household tasks directly essential to the client’s personal care.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in home care preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified client needs.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
