Job summary

Heritage Home Healthcare seeks a compassionate and dependable PRN Caregiver to provide delegated personal care in a home setting. This flexible, on-call role supports daily living activities to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for clients in their own homes.

Ideal candidates are empathetic, observant, and capable of working independently, with strong communication and time-management skills. Travel to client homes is required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must possess reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Current automobile insurance meeting state requirements.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Follow prescribed healthcare plans and assist with exercises and medications as delegated.
• Provide mobility assistance (transfers from bed, chair, or wheelchair).
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment with light housekeeping.
• Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
• Escort or transport clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health or needs to the clinical team.
• Adhere to all care plans and delegation instructions from licensed professionals.
