Job summary

Apalachee Center, Inc. in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a part‑time professional to supervise clients and conduct psychosocial rehabilitation activities aligned with staff guidance and unit procedures.

You will support daily living activities, foster client participation in scheduled activities, ensure a safe environment, and document service actions per the unit guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related human services field.
• Maintain current CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications.
• Possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Maintain authorization as an approved Center vehicle driver.
• If High School diploma: Must maintain Certified Behavioral Health Technician status through the Florida Certification Board (FCB) in accordance with applicable regulations and abide by the FCB Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and conducts psychosocial rehabilitation groups using Agency approved modules and according to the unit schedule. Conducts individual PSR sessions as dictated by the client service plan.
• Completes individualized documentation of all psychosocial rehabilitation activities in accordance with the Client Record Handbook and the client service plan.
• Participates in or assists case manager with development and update of rehab services component of client service plan (CSP).

Overview:

Provide client supervision and conduct activities in accordance with professional staff direction and unit procedures. Assist clients in activities of daily living, encourage client participation in daily scheduled activities, maintain safe and clean environment. Document service activities in accordance with unit procedures. Assist with development and implementation of program schedule of activities.
