Job summary

Apalachee Center in Madison, FL is seeking a qualified professional to supervise clients and implement daily activity schedules under staff direction. You will support clients with daily living activities, maintain a safe environment, and document services in line with unit procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, current CPR/CPI/First Aid certifications, and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related human services field.
• CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications must be current.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and authorization as an approved Center vehicle driver.
• If high school diploma only, must maintain FCB Certified Behavioral Health Technician status.

Responsibilities

• Participates in or assists with development and update of rehab services component of CSP.
• Coordinates and conducts psychosocial rehabilitation services activity groups using Agency approved modules.
• Plans daily/weekly activities schedules in accordance with overall approved plan for activities services.
• Completes documentation of all clinical services activities in accordance with the Client Record Handbook.
• Documents staff activities in accordance with Agency procedures. Maintains program documentation, inventories of equipment and supplies, and other logs/records in accordance with program procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related human services field

High School diploma: Must maintain Certified Behavioral Health Technician status through the Florida Certification Board (FCB) and abide by the FCB Code of Conduct

Overview

Provide client supervision and conduct activities in accordance with professional staff direction and unit procedures. Assist clients in activities of daily living, encourage client participation in daily scheduled activities, maintain safe and clean environment. Document service activities in accordance with unit procedures. Assist with development and implementation of program schedule of activities.
