Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification required.
• Experience with clinical documentation and patient care in mental/behavioral health.
• Knowledge of crisis management and intervention techniques.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments and contribute to discharge planning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting clinical assessments and monitor patient behavior to inform treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including support with daily living activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques to manage and de-escalate behavioral emergencies effectively.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and execute individualized discharge plans.
• Support patients with Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) by applying specialized care strategies.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
