Job summary

Bradford Health Services is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians in Taylor, TX. The role provides direct patient care to individuals with mental health challenges under clinical supervision, focusing on treatment plan implementation, assessments, and safety.

The position supports crisis intervention, accurate documentation, and discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, with FT, PT, and PRN options available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in a related field preferred
• Experience working in a behavioral health or mental health setting, including direct patient care
• Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and ability to maintain accurate records
• Basic understanding of crisis management and intervention techniques
• Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health crises and SED

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with mental health and emotional disorders, including those with SED
• Conduct clinical assessments and assist in monitoring patient progress according to individualized treatment plans
• Implement crisis intervention techniques to manage and de-escalate behavioral emergencies effectively and safely
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and discharge plans
• Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and update discharge plans that promote patient stability and community reintegration
• Participate in team meetings and communicate patient status and concerns to ensure coordinated care
• Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies related to patient care, confidentiality, and safety
