Job summary

The Last Resort Recovery Center in Smithville, TX is seeking PRN Behavioral Health Technicians to support patients on a 4-day-a-week schedule. You will assist with security, patient transport, and documentation while promoting safety and adherence to the Bradford program.

Experience in addiction recovery and CPR certification are valued. Responsibilities include monitoring patient activities, escorting patients to meals and appointments, and supporting counselors as needed in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand principles of chemical dependency recovery.
• Must be able to walk within the facility and grounds for about 1 mile per 8-hour shift.
• CPR certification required.
• Must maintain composure and function under stress.

Responsibilities

• Assist in luggage and body searches.
• Monitor and facilitate book studies and recovery meetings.
• Document hourly checks and ensure patients are on schedule.
• Supervise patient activities and escorts as needed.
• Oversee med line to prevent diversion and support routines.
• Drive patients to appointments and errands as directed.
