• 1+ years of healthcare admissions experience.
• Experience in patient assessment, referral, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-admission screenings and schedules assessments.
• Provides coverage for the Call Center team during high volume, including telephone duties and verifying insurance.
• Coordinates with business office, nursing, and clinical staff to ensure timely patient admission.
• Refers inquiries to appropriate agencies and resources when not suitable for admission.
• Maintains documentation for admissions and communicates status to referrals.
