Job summary

Brethren Care Village is seeking a Bartender for the Bistro and Catering operations, offering flexible, PRN hours with potential for additional housekeeping shifts. The role covers customer-facing drink service, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, safe bar area both during and after events.

Qualified candidates have at least two years of bartending experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of bartending experience.
• Excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and handle money with accuracy.
• Knowledge of legal requirements for serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Clearly and politely communicate with customers and co-workers to ensure correct orders.
• Mix drinks according to standard serving sizes.
• Greet guests and process transactions with an accurate cash drawer.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area per health standards.
• Operate drink-related equipment safely and correctly.
