Job summary

Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna is seeking a friendly PRN Bartender to join our dining and hospitality team in Gretna, NE. This role focuses on beverage and food service, POS entry, and delivering a warm resident experience during the Thursday–Saturday 3:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. shifts.

You'll work closely with residents to provide attentive service, follow alcohol-service requirements, maintain bar areas, and participate in menu development and special events in a supportive senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Food & beverage service experience preferred.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Assist residents with beverage and food selections.
• Prepare and serve drinks and food in a professional manner.
• Enter all food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Follow alcohol-service laws and Hillcrest policies.
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities.
• Restock bar and stocking snacks.
• Maintain clean, organized bar areas and sanitize surfaces.
• Monitor inventory and assist with counts and tracking.
• Support special events and community celebrations.
• Attend department meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
