Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (PRN) to deliver comprehensive athletic training services in our Phoenix area clinics. You will work under supervision of physicians, provide injury assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation, and support injury prevention programs for community athletes.

The role involves attending practices and games, collaborating with physicians and therapists, and educating patients and families about safer training and recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• BOC certification and must possess a valid athletic trainer license issued in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Requires the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Administers athletic training services in a community or clinic setting under supervision of a supervising physician.
• Serve as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with AZ Rattlers during March–August.
• Injury screening, prevention programs, athletic consults, injury assessment, and rehabilitation case management.
• Attend practices and games for area schools and community athletic events.
• Educate clients, families, and coaches regarding injuries and prevention.
