Job summary

The Orthopedic Hospital is seeking an Athletic Trainer to deliver comprehensive athletic training services across multiple sports and events. You will collaborate with team physicians and coaches to prevent injuries, guide rehabilitation, and promote Sports Medicine in the community.

You will conduct pre-season screenings, develop conditioning programs, and maintain detailed medical records while staying up-to-date with evidence-based practices and certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of athletic training experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
• Maintain detailed, accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-season physical examinations with physicians.
• Develop conditioning programs to prevent injuries and improve performance.
• Provide on-site evaluation and treatment for injuries during events.
• Apply protective devices/equipment and facilitate referrals as needed.
• Design and execute rehabilitation plans for injured athletes.
• Educate coaches, athletes, and parents on injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate athlete evaluation and treatment records.
• Assist Sports Medicine Director in community outreach.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and maintain certifications.
