Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• Biology, physiology, or anatomy coursework preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital or surgical setting preferred; LVN experience also valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare anesthetizing locations by setting up and calibrating monitoring devices and equipment.
• Assist anesthesia providers with sterile techniques during procedures and airway management.
• Monitor and report abnormal vital signs to anesthesia providers.
• Stock anesthesia supplies in ORs and procedural areas to ensure readiness.
• Assist with ABGs, ACTs, and other point-of-care tests.
• Deliver blood products and pharmaceuticals as requested by the anesthesia team.
• Provide guidance to other technicians and team members as needed.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and monitoring.
