Qualifications

• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and the anesthesia process.
• BLS certification within the orientation period and kept current.
• Experience with hospital policies, procedures and equipment in a perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean anesthesia equipment across OR, L&D, ER, GI, EP, and MRI.
• Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and monitors.
• Assist with preoperative or intraoperative positioning per age-specific needs.
• Transport patients through the perioperative process as needed.
• Stock anesthesia medications and ensure equipment availability.
