Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a compassionate Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN role in Wheeling, IL. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, provides patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting, and upholds professional practice standards.

Completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Illinois, and BLS certification are required. Pediatric experience is a plus and hours are Monday–Friday 8am–4pm, PRN as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license for the state in which you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process in an ambulatory setting.
• Deliver care per established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with PRN staffing to cover clinic hours and staffing shortages.
