Job summary

The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) at Advocate Health’s Aurora Medical Group in Wheeling, IL provides high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory setting. This PRN role supports staffing as needed, with clinic hours Monday–Friday 8am–4pm.

You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, uphold standards, and promote safe patient experiences. Pediatric experience is preferred, and a state RN license plus BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• PRN - as needed role. Health center clinic hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
