Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in Libertyville, IL, to cover as needed for RN call-offs and PTO. This part-time role spans Monday–Thursday and Friday with weekend coverage as needed in a pediatric primary care setting.

You will coordinate patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold professional standards to ensure safe, compassionate care and positive patient experiences for children and families.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Assist in creating a safe patient environment and delivering high-quality care in ambulatory settings.

Education

Accredited nursing program completed

Registered Nurse license issued by the state

BLS for Healthcare Providers certification

Minimum 1 year RN experience preferred
