Job summary

American Family Care Norfolk Janaf is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients, provide medical assessments, and ensure efficient patient flow. The role involves collaboration with other providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Candidates must possess an active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure and preferably have ER/UC experience. The position offers a supportive work environment and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Active and current licensure in the state of practice is required.
• 1 year ER/UC experience preferred outside of clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories.
• Institute emergency measures in situations such as cardiac arrest.
• Provide instructions and guidance regarding healthcare to patients.
