Grand Canyon University Inc. is seeking PRN adjunct Clinical and Lab Nursing faculty to support pre-licensure nursing students. The role requires travel within the Fort Collins, Colorado area to observe student performance during clinical rotations and labs.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred; BSN required.
• BSN must enroll in an MSN Leadership or MSN Education program upon hire, paid for by GCU or BSN with 9 credits/3 classes in any graduate program or approved national certification.
• Please specify your graduate credits OR national certification on your resume.
• Minimum of 2 years' OB nursing experience with an MSN
• Active, current, unencumbered, multi-state RN license (compact)
• Must pass a drug test and competency testing
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach the knowledge and skills for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty for evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading of written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends and development in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance.
• Support university program in all areas aligning with the institution's philosophy and mission.
• Provide a positive example by upholding the University's Doctrinal Statement and Ethical Position Statement
