Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a PRN 1:1 School Nurse (RN) to support a 4th grade student in Sparta, MI. The role is PRN with a 1:1 setting, covering the 2026–2027 school year. Requires Trach and Vent experience and active Michigan RN license.

W-2 employment with benefits and reimbursement options available. You'll triage injuries, administer medications, communicate with families, participate in IEP/504 meetings as appropriate, and collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe learning

Qualifications

• Active Michigan State RN license.
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance.
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates.
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate.
• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols.
