Qualifications

• Active Colorado State RN license.
• School Nursing CDE or ability to obtain.
• Pass fingerprinting and background check.
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students and their health needs.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Provide first aid and respond to student health concerns throughout the school day.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance.
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, administrators, and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate.
• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols.
• Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings.
• Promote student health, safety, and wellness throughout the school.
