Job summary

Blue Owl Capital, a leading asset manager, seeks a Market Leader (Vice President) to drive growth in the Pacific West/Mountain region. You will engage financial advisors, lead strategic initiatives, and represent Blue Owl as a senior private markets expert.

This role is in office in SF or Denver, with travel and a focus on expanding wallet share. The role requires 6–10+ years in financial services, FINRA licenses, and a proven hybrid sales background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6–10+ years in financial services, preferably in alternative investments.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required.
• Hybrid sales role experience with ability to manage a territory.
• Willing to work in SF, CA or Denver, CO territories.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by developing and managing relationships with financial advisors in the assigned territory.
• Proactive outreach via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in person to expand advisor adoption.
• Schedule and lead advisor meetings, portfolio reviews, and group presentations; travel 1–2x monthly.
• Deploy senior sales and investment resources for high impact meetings within the territory.
• Represent Blue Owl at partner firm and advisor conferences as a senior point of contact for clients and prospects.
• Maintain accountability for territory sales results, focusing on new producers and wallet share growth.
• Provide exceptional client service, addressing product, technical, and competitive inquiries with precision.
• Serve as a senior expert on private markets and the competitive landscape.
