Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Private Tax to lead wealth advisory engagements for high-net-worth families and business owners. You will deliver sophisticated estate, trust, and gift tax planning and compliance, including multi-jurisdictional considerations.

You will mentor junior professionals, manage project scopes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance client service and risk management. Regular travel may be required as part of client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field in tax, business, or finance.
• CPA certification or membership in The Bar is preferred.
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of estate and wealth planning.
• Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation.

Responsibilities

• Lead tailored tax advice and compliance for complex family/business structures.
• Support wealth transfer, succession planning, and governance strategies.
• Navigate cross-border tax matters for multijurisdictional families.
• Coach and develop a team of tax professionals and review work.
