Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Private Tax within our Wealth Tax Advisory Practice. You will lead delivery of tailored tax advice and compliance for high-net-worth clients, spanning family structures, estate, trust and gifting matters, while mentoring junior professionals and expanding client relationships across the U.S.

and globally. The role emphasizes cross-border, multi-jurisdictional planning and governance, with a focus on quality, risk, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with tax, business or financial planning experience.
• CPA certification or bar membership.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of estate and wealth planning.
• Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation.
• Experience with flow-through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs).
• Understanding of automated tax processing systems.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of tailored tax advice and compliance for complex family and business structures.
• Support wealth transfer, succession planning, and governance strategies.
• Navigate multijurisdictional cross-border tax matters.
