This is a hands-on role for someone ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.The ideal candidate:* is highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, while managing multiple complex matters.* has excellent academic and working credentials, strong research, writing and verbal communication skills.* has prior experience in a fast-paced law firm setting working on trust and estate matters.* is in good standing with the Texas Bar, or eligible for admission to the Texas Bar.* ranked in the top of their law school class or graduated from a top-tier law school with strong academic record.* may have an LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning (strongly preferred, though not required if the candidate otherwise has a solid trusts and estates background).**Representative Experience*** Designing and drafting complex estate planning documents, including Wills, revocable trust agreements, and irrevocable trust agreements.* Drafting documents to transferring stock, business interests, and real estate.* Managing complex trust and estate administrations.* Drafting trust modifications, decantings, mergers, nonjudicial settlement agreements, and trust terminations.* Conducting sophisticated legal research and analysis involving multijurisdictional and occasionally cross-border estate planning considerations.**Practice Summary**Greenberg Traurig’s Private Wealth Services Department is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through the complexities of wealth transfer and estate planning.
