Job summary

Black-Dragon-Capital is seeking an experienced Personal Controller/CFO to oversee the principal's private wealth affairs. The role combines controller rigor with strategic CFO judgment in a family-office style environment, handling bookkeeping, tax coordination, insurance oversight, and trust administration for a high-net-worth principal with PE-related interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA and CFP strongly preferred.
• 10+ years experience in a family office, personal CFO/controller, private wealth, or public accounting role.
• Experience with private equity-related holdings, carried interest, or complex investments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date books of record for personal accounts, entities, and household expenses using QuickBooks or similar.
• Reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit accounts monthly; manage bill pay and disbursements.
• Prepare audit-ready personal financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Track personal investments and fund interests, real estate, and other holdings.
• Coordinate with outside CPAs and attorneys on tax, estate, and trust filings.
