Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Private Tax to lead delivery of tailored tax advice and compliance for high net worth, cross-border families. You will manage complex planning, support wealth transfer strategies, and work across multi-jurisdictional issues.

In this role you’ll guide and develop professionals, maintain quality and risk controls, and collaborate with domestic and international teams. Regular client sessions and travel may be required in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CPA or Bar membership preferred.
• Experience in professional tax services or tax organization (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of estate and wealth planning; federal/state personal and trust income tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead tailored tax advice and compliance for multi-jurisdictional families.
• Support wealth transfer, succession planning, and governance strategies.
• Manage cross-border tax matters and complex family structures.
• Coach and develop teams while maintaining quality and risk controls.
• Engage in client work sessions and travel as needed.
