Job summary

InstaSwim LLC connects independent swim instructors with families in San Diego and nearby towns to offer private swim lessons at home or community pools. Instructors pick which lesson offers to accept and set their own schedule.

This is an independent contractor role with flexible hours. You travel to lessons within the distance you set, receive fast payouts after each completed lesson, and are covered by InstaSwim's liability insurance while teaching.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required; swim teaching experience is a plus, and every application is reviewed.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to get certified before teaching).
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally able to work in the US.
• Able to pass a background check.
• A professional, positive attitude with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Teach private (1 on 1) and small group swim lessons at the family's pool.
• Plan each lesson around the swimmer's age, ability and goals.
• Track progress and adjust lessons as swimmers improve.
• Keep every lesson safe and fun.
• Travel to lessons within the distance you choose.
