Job summary

InstaSwim LLC is seeking professional private swim instructors to teach lessons in clients' homes and community pools across the Detroit area. You set your own schedule and choose clients; payment is issued within 24 hours after each lesson.

You will travel locally, build personalized lesson plans, ensure safety, and provide a fun, trackable learning experience. Qualifications include at least 2 years of instruction, 18+, CPR/First Aid, reliable transport, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of swim instruction experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation.
• Swim instruction equipment if needed.
• Must be based in the US and have US work authorization.
• A professional and positive attitude, especially with children and adults.
• Confidence in creating and delivering personalized lesson plans.
• Clear a background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct private (1-1) and small group swim lessons.
• Schedule swim lessons with flexibility.
• Travel safely to and from clients pool locations.
• Create custom lesson plans tailored to each student's ability and learning style.
• Assess student's skills, monitor progress and adapt lessons to meet needs.
• Provide a fun, full and tracked learning experience for our students and clients.
• Ensure safety of the student at all times.
